Pastors “Feed my Sheep”
(Proverbs 27:7) “The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.” (John 21:16) “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.“ (2Tim 4:3-5)
For there will be a people “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”(2Tim 3:1-8) ( who Jesus/God really is ) _ “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.” (Deut 32:39)
Let the congregation know that “Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. ...” (Matthew 7:21-23)
“No fornicator” (people sleeping together out of wedlock), “or effeminate”, or “abusers of themselves with mankind”(homosexuals / trans-sexuals / sodomites ..) , “or covetous person” who “..have heaped treasure together for the last days” (James 5:3 ) or those that are “lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (2Tim 3:4 ) shall enter the Kingdom of God. ( 1Cor 6:9-10 ) Unless they/ we repent and overcome “the sin that does so easily beset us” we could have our “names blotted out of the book of life” Acts 3:19 , Rev 2:5/11 , Rev 3:5 , Jude 1:5 , John 15:2 , Mat 5:13 , Luke 13:24… And hopefully this next scripture is not for you: (and note that it’s not volume that makes us hot)
“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. “ (Rev 3:15-16)
“And think not to say within yourselves, we have Abraham to our father: or have some special place with God “for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”(Mathew 3:9-12) Or you begin to say “we believe in Jesus”.. “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”(James 2:19-20).
Pastors .. “ Feed My Sheep “ ( John 21:14-17 ). At the very least read them some parables; (Luke 13:6-9) “He (Jesus) spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none…. why cumberest it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. or (John 15:1-2) “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” People like to speak of Grace from God as a “Grace ticket” .. but the word grace translates or is used in the Greek as “devine inspiration” or “undeserved mercy” , e.g. (John 1:12) “.. as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:.” (2 Timothy 4:1-8) “ I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
(Jude 1:5-12) “I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh (LGBT) , are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these ….Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (jealous of his brothers relationship with God), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward (not caring if he was used to curse God’s people or bless them as long as he got paid), and perished in the gainsaying of Core/Korah (whom God opened up the ground underneath their rebellious group to swallow them up because they thought they were all God’s chosen (Num 16:5)). “These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;” (Jude). (Matthew 20:16) “So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.”
Warning : Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory/doctrine makes for weak Christians and the Eternal Security / Calvinist doctrine makes for SMUG Christians !! It’s actually a mixture of Wesleyan/Armenian and Calvinism.
For this is how “..God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “.. he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. “ (Malachi 4:6). “He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.” (Psalms 104:32)
“My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments. “ (Psalms 119:120)
“For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word…”(Isaiah 66:2-5) “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:3-6)
Noah didn’t escape the mocking but he did escape the wrath.
