Who Was Jesus?

“Jesus said .. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Jesus was either a liar, a lunatic or who he said he was “The Son of God” “.. God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” (John 3:17-20) “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:21)

Jesus told the John the Baptist disciples who wanted to confirm He was the Messiah prophesied to bring us the new covenant, (Isaiah 42) “the blind see, lepers are cleansed, dead people are raised to life, the lame can walk, the poor have the gospel preached unto them and blessed are they who shall not be offended in me”. (Mat 11:4-6)

“The wise will hear, and will increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels” (Proverbs 1:5) “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mat 16:26) “There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

Christianity is the only “religion” where their leader is not in the grave still! A few days after Jesus was crucified and sealed in a tomb, where the Roman guards watched to make sure no one stole his dead body, He arose from the dead and left his grave clothes behind. He then walked and talked with his disciples and followers for a few weeks before he went to the Mount of Olives and 120 people saw Him ascend into heaven.

“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” (John 21:25) “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.“ (2Peter 3:9) “Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;” (Romans 2:6-8)
