Why we wear the Orange / Blue shirts?
“The ernest expectation of the creature is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Rom 8:19). People are out there who want to know who God really is.
We are commanded by Jesus “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15)
“be not overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21) What better way to get back at the devil than to work in the harvest fields.
Jesus said, “I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?” (Luke 12:49) You’re going to have to be on fire to make it through the fire.
“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” (1Jn 3:17)
People are in need of sound doctrine, that makes for godliness;
(1Tim 6:3-5) “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.”
(Rev 2:1) “Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
(Rev 2:2-5) “I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”
